Each 1-ml Prefilled syringe contains: Recombinant Interferon Alfa-2b: 5 MIU
Interferon Alfa-2b is supplied as a single dose prefilled syringe of 1ml. Each prefilled syringe contains 3 or 5 millions of international units (MIU) of interferon Alfa-2b and excipients (Sodium chloride, Sodium phosphate dibasic, Sodium phosphate monobasic, Edetate disodium, Polysorbate 80, Water for injection).
DESCRIPTION
Recombinant interferon Alfa-2b is highly purified protein comprising 165 amino acids and its approximate molecular weight is 19,000 Daltons. Interferon Alfa-2b is manufactured by means of recombinant DNA techniques, using a strain of bacterium Escherichia coli.
